Hoist Rings and Lifting

In the world of lifting and rigging, hoist rings are a proven lifting solution. (That said, a safely designed lifting plan is important.) A hoist ring can be used in combination with fabricated lifting plates. Those plates can be attached to a load. This ability opens opportunities for different lifting lug types. While the fabricated lifting plate will not swivel, the hoist ring will act as a lifting swivel for the plate. The final design needs to be properly engineered and tested with the hoist ring.
